Aiden's Light is a 501(c)3 registered nonprofit devoted to countering the negative effects of poverty on children.
Who we support
Established in 2018, Aiden's Light proudly supports children and teens from economically underprivileged areas across the United States.
What we do
Award college scholarships to minority high school seniors (with a preference for students planning to major in education) on an annual basis
Provide backpacks and school supplies to children unable to afford school supplies on an annual basis
Plans for future initiatives
Providing music lesson scholarships to children and teenagers looking to explore a musical instrument
Providing swim lesson scholarships to children and teenagers who want to learn how to swim
Providing in-person mentoring for children and teenagers to give them academic, emotional and psychological support.
Our long term vision is to establish community centers in underprivileged areas that will provide more devoted support to children and teenagers, as well as create local internship and employment opportunities for the community.
Supporting the whole child through heart, mind, body, and spirit
We feel it is of the utmost importance to provide support for children and teenagers in need, so that they can:
Feel believed in, supported, and empowered
Know their self-worth
Learn work ethic and goal setting
Explore different opportunities for the future
Expand their life experiences and gain necessary skills
